GuideTips for the Hardest Achievements

πŸ“‘
Full Kindex Hardest
Scan all 58 creature and plant entries. The blockers are the 4 boss entries β€” scan during the fight, not after. Specifically: Apex Predator must be scanned during Phase 1 Camouflage (its shimmer is scannable while invisible). The Bioluminescent Moth on Xephyr only appears after 15+ in-game minutes on the planet. The Permafrost Bloom retreats under ice after ~10 minutes β€” enter fresh and scan immediately. Use the Kindex database to track exact scan conditions for every tricky entry. Get the Scan Boost upgrade before tackling Cryo Station and Noxious Ridge.
πŸ’₯
Mass Extinction Hard
Kill 10 enemies simultaneously with a single Explosive Goo blast. Best location: Stellaris Prime Sector B near the geyser cluster β€” during a creature surge event (triggered by staying in the area for ~3 minutes) up to 12 Canoptrix juveniles spawn together. Wait until they cluster, drop one Explosive Goo blob at the centre of the group. The Explosive Goo Radius upgrade makes this significantly easier β€” get it before attempting.
🧊
Skip the Ice Hard
Pull off the Stomp Skip Tech on the Glacial Warden β€” interrupt the Ice Wall Summon by Grappling to the ceiling during the animation then dropping a Stomp. Timing window is approximately 0.8 seconds after the Warden begins raising its arms. Grapple to the anchor point directly above the boss's head as soon as the arm-raise animation starts β€” the drop Stomp needs to connect before the wall materialises. This is easier in co-op with one player maintaining Grapple position already.
🟠
Goo Legend Medium
Collect every Orange Goo deposit across all four planets. Use the interactive Goo tracker β€” it saves between sessions so you never lose your place. The most commonly missed deposits are: Stellaris Prime Sector D Peak Overlook (requires Jump Boost + Double Jump), Xephyr Bird Nest Hollow (requires Grapple chain), and the 3 post-boss deposits on Cryo Station Sector C that only unlock after defeating the Glacial Warden. Do a revisit run with full mobility upgrades on every planet.
🀝
Pioneer Pair Medium
Complete the entire main campaign in co-op. Story saves to the host, so both players need to take turns hosting if you both want this achievement in your own files. The achievement unlocks for each player in their respective save when the final boss is defeated while both players are connected. Need a co-op partner? Use the co-op finder or join #co-op-lfg on Discord.
🎯
Bingo! & Bingo Champ ⚠️ Missable
The only truly missable achievements. Both require an active Bingo Brawl event. If an event is currently live, prioritise the top-tier card over everything else β€” it expires when the event ends. The Bingo Champ achievement requires completing the maximum difficulty card, which demands all four planets and significant combat progress. Efficient card strategy: scan objectives first (easiest to batch), then combat, then exploration. See the Bingo Brawl event guide for optimal card-fill order.

FAQAchievements FAQ

βŒ„How many achievements does Revenge of the Savage Planet have?
32 achievements total (Steam/PC equivalent). On PlayStation 5 this is the equivalent trophy set including a Platinum trophy. Two achievements are time-limited event achievements available only during Bingo Brawl.
βŒ„Are there any missable achievements?
Only two: Bingo! and Bingo Champ, which require the Bingo Brawl seasonal event to be active. All other 30 achievements can be earned at any point β€” nothing is locked behind a story gate or permanently missable through normal play. You can revisit every planet at any time.
βŒ„What is the hardest achievement?
Full Kindex is consistently voted the hardest β€” it requires scanning all 58 creature and plant entries including 4 boss entries (must be scanned during fights) and several creatures with obscure spawn conditions. Second hardest is Mass Extinction (10 simultaneous Explosive Goo kills) and Skip the Ice (Stomp Skip Tech on the Glacial Warden).
βŒ„Does Revenge of the Savage Planet have a Platinum trophy on PS5?
Yes. The PS5 version has a full trophy set including a Platinum. Earning all other trophies (excluding any PS5-specific threshold adjustments) unlocks the Platinum. The full trophy run takes approximately 35–45 hours for a completionist. Use the 100% checklist to track every requirement.
βŒ„Do co-op achievements require both players to do the thing?
No. Co-op achievements unlock for both players when the trigger condition is met in a shared session β€” even if only one player directly performs the action. For example, the Two-Player Puzzle achievement unlocks for both players when a two-player pressure plate is activated together, regardless of who initiates it.
βŒ„Can I get all achievements in one playthrough?
Yes β€” all 30 non-event achievements are obtainable in a single continuous playthrough. The recommended approach is to use the 100% completion checklist and target achievements methodically by planet rather than chasing them separately. Bingo Brawl achievements require the event to be active but are independent of story progress.
